Jeera Aloo
2 large potatoes cut into fingers like French fries
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
1 teaspoon chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
2 teaspoon coriander (dhania) powder
2 tablespoons oil
Salt to taste
For the garnish:
2 tablespoons chopped coriander
- In a microwave safe bowl, add oil and the cumin seeds and microwave on high for 1 minute.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, cover with the lid and microwave on high for 6 minutes until the potatoes are soft. Serve hot, garnished with the chopped coriander.
